About Ahan San Abic Metal Equipment Company

Ahan San Company, located in Abik city, has an operating license from the Ministry of Industries of Qazvin province in the field of manufacturing pressure storage tanks, as well as manufacturing pressure tank lenses and factory equipment. This company has started its activity since 1973 with more than 45 personnel in a land area of 5000 square meters of workshop space and 2000 square meters of production hall.

In 1381, Ahan Sun Company has constructed a new workshop with an area of 7000 square meters of workshop land and 800 square meters of hall for sandblasting, paint and insulation work.

In this workshop, industrial coatings for the productions of Ahan Sun Company are done scientifically and based on SIS, SSPC standards. Sun Batkieh Iron Company relies on its long experience in manufacturing equipment with strict quality control and is ready to offer its carbon and stainless steel products. Ahansan company, with full knowledge of international standards such as ASME, DIN, API, has the ability to adapt its products to the aforementioned standards.

FAQ

Types of pressure vessels

Cylindrical tanks: can be installed horizontally and vertically and are used in the construction of boilers, sand filters, hardeners and also for storing liquids.

Spherical tanks: Petal and explosive tanks are very practical examples of these tanks, and the pressure tolerance in them is 10 to 200 pounds.

Tanks under internal pressure: the fluid pressure inside these tanks is very high and is higher than the atmosphere

Tanks under external pressure: the ambient pressure in this type of tanks is high and accordingly, several standards are considered in their design.

Thermal pressure tanks: The heat required for these tanks is provided by fuel.

Non-thermal pressure tanks: the heat of this group of tanks is not produced directly and in most cases electric heat and steam are used for this purpose.

Tanks with thin walls: the thickness and diameter of the tank is 10 times more than the thickness of the shell.

Tanks with thick walls: the thickness and diameter of the tank is 10 times less than the thickness of the shell.

What are the uses of pressure vessels?

Pressure vessels are used in various applications both in industry and in the private sector. For example, industrial compressed air tanks and household water storage tanks can be mentioned. Other examples of pressure tanks are: diving cylinders, distillation towers, pressure reactors, autoclaves and many other tanks used in mining operations, oil and petrochemical refineries, nuclear reactor tanks, submarines and space stations, pneumatic tanks, pressurized hydraulic tanks, road vehicle brake tanks and storage tanks for liquid gases such as ammonia, chlorine and LPG. (propane, butane).

Another application of pressure tanks is to use them as water storage tanks behind building water pumps. The use of a pressurized tank makes it unnecessary to turn on the water pump continuously every time the water valve of the units is opened and closed.

Pressure vessel components

According to the purpose of the tank, different components are considered in it. In general and in most of these tanks, the following components are used in them:

  • Lens or cap (flange, plate, elliptical, interspherical, conical and semi-conical lens)
  • Valve
  • Flange (integral or welding neck, loose type or slip-on, reverse flange, ring and blind flange)
  • Reinforced rims
  • Support (types of support: skirt, bracket, leg, ring, saddle)
  • Protective devices (safety valve, pressure relief valve, burst plates)
  • Inlet and outlet pipes
  • Overflow
  • Anchor-shaped arm

International standards for the design of pressure vessels

Due to the great importance of these reservoirs and the risks they may bring, several standards have been introduced for them, each of which must be followed. These standards include the following:

  • ASME boiler and pressure vessel code
  • API
  • API 620
  • Design and construction of large low- pressure strorge tanks
  • API 650
  • Welded steel tanks for oil storage
  • BS 5500
  • AD MERK BLLAT(DIN)
